Hand picked in small farms located in the Pacific Coast of Ecuador. The plantain is a variety of the banana family having a similar appearance but is much larger. Can only be eaten when cooked, steamed or fried.
The skin is removed, the plantain is delicately sliced and crisped in non-hydrogenated vegetable oil.
Rich in potassium and low in sugar.
